Ace director Sreenu Vytla reveals what are his expectations from the Aagadu movie. Confirming that the flick hasn’t exceeded any single penny he initially figured out, the dashing action-comedy director says Mahesh Babu will be unleashing his best power in theatres. ‘Dookudu is just a trailer, and Aagadu is the full picture’, Sreenu exaggerates.
Refuting comparisons with ‘Gabbar Singh’, Sreenu points out that ‘rural’ police characters are not new to Tollywood with Pawan’s movie. ‘From Chiru to Balayya, rural police characters are always popular roles for big stars. Aagadu is no way nearer to Gabbar Singh in any scene or sequence’, he reiterates. The most important question that is on Sreenu’s table at the moment is- ‘Can you repeat the same Dookudu magic with Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan out of board?’. He is quick with his answer.
‘Basically I’m a writer and my present team worked as script assistants with me since Dookudu. Our sync has brought the best of humor for the flick’, the ‘Aagadu’ director avers, adding ‘Sreenu’s permanent technician is Vylta, and I don’t think anyone else will else permanently for me. And I wish Kona and Gopi all successes’.
