Ace director Shankar has been invited to launch the audio of Mahesh Babu, Tamannaah starrer Aagadu and the director has obliged to the request quite graciously. In fact, music director, Thaman himself is accompanying Shankar all the way from Chennai to Hyderabad. The event will be held on a grand scale in Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad later today.
Interestingly, Shankar had approached Mahesh Babu to act in the remake of 3 Idiots; however, the actor politely turned down the request and since then speculation has been rife that the two will work together sometime in near future. The director has been busy with the post-production of his upcoming film Manoharudu, the Telugu version of Ai, for the past several weeks in the US and finally, he took sometime out to fly down to Hyderabad.
Directed by Srinu Vaitla, Aagadu also has Shruti Haasan grooving for a special song, along with Mahesh Babu. Recently, couple of songs were canned on Mahesh Babu and Tamannaah in Switzerland and the film is expected to hit the screens in late September.
