Horror Comedy flick 'Geethanjali' has become successful at the Box Office and it earned lot of accolades for Anjali. Not many knew, Tollywood Seetha wasn't the first choice to play the lead in this movie.
Initially, Director Raaj Kiran approached Amala Paul and Colors Swathi to play the female lead role. However, Both the actresses turned down the offer as Comedian Srinivas Reddy is playing the male lead. Finally, Anjali grabbed the opportunity and Today she is having the last laugh.
Notably, Raaj Kiran has given a promise to Srinivas Reddy that he will be the male lead in 'Geethanjali'. It was because of this commitment he rejected the offer given by Bellamkonda Suresh who agreed to produce the movie if Sunil plays the lead. Its very rare to find people like Raaj Kiran in Film Industry where losing/grabbing one opportunity could change the fate a person overnight.
