Suriya 'Masss' First Look Teaser to be Released for Pongal?

There is a buzz that the teaser of Suriya's "Masss" might be released for Pongal.

"Masss" director Venkat Prabhu has revealed on his Twitter page that there will be an update about the film for the Pongal festival period. Speculations are rife that the director might release the film's teaser on the festival day. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

The first-look posters of "Masss" were released for Diwali and received fantastic response from the fans. Now, they are eagerly looking forward to the film's teaser. It needs to be seen if the "Masss" team comes up with an impressive teaser for Pongal.

This is the first time that Suriya has teamed up with Venkat Prabhu. The film is carrying huge expectations as Venkat Prabhu has a successful track record with films like "Mankatha" and "Saroja."

"Masss" is touted as an action entertainer with fantasy element in it. Suriya will reportedly be sporting two different looks in the film. Nayanthara, Pranitha, Premgi Amaren, Karunas and Seeman are also part of the film's cast. Earlier there were reports that Amy Jackson will be part of the film, but it was later revealed that she opted out of the project. 

The film's music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is handled by RD Rajasekhar. Studio Green and 2D Productions are producing the film. The shooting of the action entertainer is progressing well and is expected to be completed soon.

"Masss" is expected to release in April, though an official confirmation is still awaited. Suriya's last release "Anjaan" was panned by the critics and the audience. The film failed to set the cash registers ringing and was a box office failure. Fans will be hoping that "Masss" performs well at the box office. It needs to be seen if the Suriya-starrer will be able to impress the audience and strike gold at the box office.

Suriya pledges to donate his organs

Actor Suriya has been a vocal supporter of organ donation. In fact, in the end credits of the film Chennayil Oru Naal, where organ donation was one of the central themes, the actor appeared on screen to stress on the importance of the cause. 

Meanwhile, the actor, while flagging-off a marathon in Chennai aimed at promoting organ donation, made a gallant gesture by pledging to donate all his organs to the foundation that organised the marathon. The actor, who addressed the runners, amidst much cheering, said, "I have pledged my organs, have you? Love your liver and live your life." Of late, many celebrities have been actively promoting organ donation, including stars like Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, SS Rajamouli, Navdeep and several others.

Suriya's '24' Movie First Look Title Logo Poster Wallpaper Released

The announcement of Suriya's next movie has created a lot of buzz. Now Vikram Kumar, director of the upcoming movie, "24", has released the official title logo of the film online.

Recently, fan-made posters of the film have been released online and the director asked the fans to continue their support.

"For the past few days, I've seen so many designs throughout the place regarding #24 . So guys here you go.. the official title logo. Hope You all liked it. Join the official facebook page and support us," wrote Vikram Kumar on his Facebook page.

Vikram had earlier announced the project with Suriya and put an end to the speculations regarding Suriya's next and added that it will offer something new to the audience.

Vikram Kumar is one of the popular directors in Tamil and Telugu film industries. He made his debut as a director with a 1998 non-feature film, "Silent Scream", which won National Film Award for Beast Educational/Motivational/Instructional Film.

His first feature film was "Istam" (Telugu), starring Tarun and Shriya Saran. This was followed by "Alai" (Tamil), "Yavarum Nalam" (Tamil), "13B" (Hindi) and "Ishq" (Tamil). His last released film was Telugu movie "Manam", which was known for casting three generations of Akkineni film family including Nageshwara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaithanya.

Meanwhile, it is not clear as to who will play the lead heroine opposite Suriya in "24", but the rumours are that actress Ileana d'Cruz will play the part. Her last Tamil movie was "Nanban", the remake of Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots".

Reports are that Vikram Kumar had earlier offered the role to Telugu actor Mahesh Babu and apparently he had refused to do this role as he thought the story line of the film is highly complicated. Moreover, the script demanded the lead actor to be spotted in various looks while Mahesh Babu reportedly said his appearance won't be convincing enough to portray the character.

The upcoming movie, "24", is produced by 2D Entertainment and the shooting is expected to kick start soon after Suriya finishes the schedule of Venkat Prabhu's "Masss".

Surya Next Movie with Manam Director Vikram Kumar

Surya working with Vikram Kumar of Manam fame. According to the latest update, this film might be titled ’24’. Though an official confirmation is yet to be received, this title has almost been finalized. 

After the success of Manam, Vikram has become the talk of the town and is being flooded with huge offers. Meanwhile, Surya also revealed that he will team up star director Hari for yet another film after Singham and Singham 2. This film will go on sets in 2015.

Suriya-Vikram Kumar Film Tentatively Titled '24'; AR Rahman to Score Music

Suriya's next film with director Vikram Kumar of "Yaarvarum Nalam" and "Manam" fame has been tentatively titled "24."

The film, touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, will have music by Oscar winner AR Rahman. Rahman will be working in a Suriya film for the third time after "Ayutha Ezhuthu" and "Sillunu Oru Kadhal".

"#Suriya's next with #VikramKumar has been tentatively titled #24. @arrahman 2 provide music. Camera- PS Vinod. Art Rajeevan. Producer 2D," tweeted entertainment industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai.

Details about the film's other cast and crew members are still awaited. Earlier, there were reports that Catherine Tresa was approached to play the female lead opposite Suriya. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.

"24" is touted to be an action adventure film with all the commercial elements, including romance, sentiments, humour and action. The film's shooting is expected to commence after Suriya completes his current film "Masss."

The shooting of "Masss" is progressing at a brisk pace. The film, deemed as a horror comedy entertainer, is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Nayanthara plays the female lead, while Amy Jackson appears in a pivotal role. 

According to reports, Amy will be seen in the role of a ghost. Premgi Amaren, who is a regular in all Venkat films, will be appearing in a supporting character, but, it is not confirmed yet. Yuvan Shankar Raja works on the soundtracks, while RD Rajasekhar takes care of the cinematography.

This is the first time that Suriya has teamed up with Venkat and there are huge expectations for the project. The first look poster of the film, which was released on the eve of Diwali, had received positive response from the fans.

Suriya's last release "Anjaan" was panned by critics and the audience alike. Fans of the actor will be hoping that he scores a big hit with "Masss." The film is slated to hit the screens next year.

Amy Jackson to play a ghost role in Suriya’s Masss?

Rumour has it that the British actress will be seen portraying a ghost in Venkat Prabhu’s next flick

Director Venkat Prabhu gave a pleasant surprise to fans on Diwali, when he revealed the first look of Masss featuring Suriya in a mug shot poster. Masss starring Suriya and Nayantara in the lead is touted to be a horror flick. Earlier, rumours were doing rounds that Amy Jackson has apparently walked out of Suriya’s Masss. But the latest gossip which we hear about the film is that Amy is indeed a part of the film and would be seen playing a ghost.

A little birdie chirped to us that director Venkat Prabhu had called Amy Jackson for a screen test. From what we hear, looks like the filmmaker is pretty impressed with the London based model turned actress and has cast her as a ghost in the film. Rumours are rife that most of Amy’s scenes will be shot in Bulgaria.

Also rumour has it that Suriya will be seen playing a character who assists the lost spirits. Looks like Venkat Prabhu is planning to take the horror cinema to a whole new level in Kollywood.

Suriya's 'Masss', Karthi's 'Komban' Kerala Distribution Rights Sold for Whopping Amount

The popularity of Tamil films in Kerala has inspired Tamil producers to release their movies in the state. The movies of Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith, Suriya have a good market in the state as they enjoy a huge fan following.

Recently, Vijay's "Kaththi" had a grand opening in more than 200 theatres in Kerala. Following this trend, Suriya and his brother Karthi are set to explore the possibility of marketing their movies in the Southern state.

The latest buzz is that the film distribution company Dream Factory has sold the Kerala distribution rights of the movies "Masss" and "Komban" for a whooping amount. The news was confirmed by B Sakthivelan, the Marketing Head of Dream Factory through his Twitter page.

"#Masss & #Komban Kerala rights has been sold for a whopping amount. @StudioGreen2 @DF040714 @kegnanavelraja @dirvenkatprabhu #Suriya #Karthi", tweeted Sakthivelan.

The team, however, hasn't revealed the movies' exact cost of Kerala distribution rights.

Considering the popularity of the siblings, this move isn't surprising. Meanwhile, many in the industry see this move to be positive as more Tamil movies are hitting Kerala theatres year by year.

However, Suriya also makes sure that he visits the neighbouring state to promote his movies. Recently, the actor came to Kerala to promote his movies "Anjaan" and "Singam 2" and spent enough time with his fans and media.

For Karthi, this is a new move. His latest flick "Komban", directed by M Muthaiah, also stars Lakshmi Menon, Rajkiran, Super Subbarayan and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash and is produced by Studio Green.

Meanwhile, Suriya's "Masss" is one of the most awaited films of the star. The film, which is touted as a supernatural thriller comedy is directed by Venkat Prabhu. The team recently released the first look poster of the movie, which received an overwhelming response from the audience. The film also has Nayanthara, Amy Jackson, Premgi Amaren, R Parthiepan and Jayaram in pivotal roles. This magnum opus movie is also produced by Studio Green.

Here is an exciting Diwali treat for Suriya fans.

The actor's first look in "Masss" has been released. Suriya gives an intense look in the poster that elevates the curiosity about his character. While a section of the audience has given positive feedback for the first look, some have claimed that it is a copy of a Hollywood film.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "Masss" is touted to be a horror film with Suriya and Nayanthara in the lead roles. The film also has Amy Jackson, Jayaram, Partheipan and Premgi Amaren in pivotol roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the soundtracks, while R. D. Rajasekhar will handle the cinematography. Check below "Masss" first look.

This is the first time that Suriya has teamed up with director Venkat. There will be huge expectations as Venkat has a good track record with hit films like "Chennai 28," "Saroja" and "Mankatha."

Suriya is going through a lean phase as his recently-released "Anjaan" failed to set the cash registers ringing. "Anjaan" hit the screens on 15 August as Independence Day treat for the fans. The film received poor reviews from the critics and was panned by the audience. Following the poor show, the film's director Lingusamy was trolled on social networking sites.

Meanwhile, "Masss" director Venkat received advice from Suriya's fans on how to make a film. "Gd mg tweeps!! Just packed up shoot! Astonished 2 c so many advices on how to make a film! Happened 2 me during #mankatha shoot!! #masss," the director had tweeted few months ago.

Fans will be expecting nothing short of a hit film from Suriya and Venkat. The actor reportedly appears in two different looks in the commercial entertainer. In one of his looks, Suriya will be seen having long hair.

"He will be seen wearing his hair long for the first time. A Mumbai-based stylist has worked on his look. It will be a complete image makeover for him. However, he will not be seen in long hair throughout... he has another look in the film as well, but it is kept under wraps," a source close to the film's unit told The Times of India.

"Masss" shooting is progressing well and is expected to hit the screens in 2015.

Suriya-Hari to Team up for New Film; 'Will it be 'Singam 3'?

Suriya and director Hari are all set to team up for a new project, according to latest reports.

The actor-director duo will be joining hands for the fifth time after working in films such as "Vel," "Aaru," "Singam" and "Singam 2." Most of the films in their combination have set the cash registers ringing. Particularly, "Singam" and its sequel "Singam 2" turned out to be huge hits at the box office.

There will be huge expectations for their new project. Speculations are rife that the film could be the third installment in the "Singam" franchise. Ever since the success of the first two installments, fans have been eagerly waiting for "Singam 3." Apparently, the film will be an action-packed entertainer but it is not yet known whether their new project will be "Singam."

"They are yet to decide whether it will be the third installment of Singam or a fresh script," a source close to the actor told The Times of India.

Hari is currently busy with the promotional activities of his upcoming film "Poojai." The film, starring Vishal and Shruti Haasan, is all set to hit the screens on 22 October as a Diwali treat for the fans.

Post the release of the film, Hari will reportedly be taking some time to complete the script of his next project.

On the other hand, Suriya is having his hands full with a couple of projects. The actor is working in "Masss," directed by Venkat Prabhu.

This is the first time that the actor is doing a film with the director and there are big expectations for the project. Nayanthara plays the female lead, while Premgi appears in a pivotal role in the film. "Masss" is expected to hit the screens in 2015.

After completing the film, Suriya will team up with director Vikram Kumar of "Manam" and "Yaavarum Nalam" fame. The untitled project, touted to be a bilingual film, is still in the pre-production stage. It will take at least nine months for Suriya-Hari film to on floors, according to the source.

Dhanush has been declared as the most sensational celebrity of 2014 from Kollywood in a recent survey conducted by an online security technology firm, McAfee.

McAfee carried out a research on Tamil cinema's most popular faces to find out the riskiest celebrity (number of infected websites) in cyberspace. Dhanush emerged on top as the most sensational celebrity with more than 66 infected websites to his name.

Cyber criminals embed sites on celebrities with malware. When fans try to access these infected websites to get updates on the celebrities, it allows the criminals to steal passwords and personal information of the users.

Consumers searching for celebrity names along with other terms including wallpaper, hot pictures, videos, internet memes and selfies have led to instances of malware-laden sites, according to a press release from the company.

"By including the names of popular celebrities in a website's search tags, consumers are completely unaware of the security risks that exist which can severely infect their computers, devices and steal personal data," Venkat Krishnapur, vice president of the website, was quoted as saying by The Times of India.

"Cyber criminals are consistently looking for ways to take advantage of consumer interest around new movies, TV shows, as well as the latest celebrity-driven trends. For e.g. the selfie craze, the ice bucket challenge videos or internet memes created for sheer fun," he said.

The promos of Dhanush's upcoming Hindi film "Shamitabh," co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, has over 66 infected search results on the net. This has put the national-award winner on the top of the list of Kollywood celebrities with highest percentage of risk online, reported the daily.

The actor has taken over Trisha who took the top slot in the survey conducted last year. The "Thala 55" actress has moved to the fourth spot along with Suriya who have 57 infected sites online.

Arya takes the second spot with 59 malicious websites, while Nayanthara comes third with 58 infected websites. Superstar Rajinikanth is in the fifth spot, followed by Vijay and Shriya Sharan sharing the sixth place.

Niharika Konidela is a big movie buff and by her own admission, her love for movies started only in the early years of the last decade. "As a kid, I don't remember watching too many films, although I grew up in a film family. However, by the time my uncle Chiranjeevi's Indra and Tagore released, the movie bug had bitten me. I remember watching Tagore almost five times in a span of two days. 

He's my favourite actor in the family," she says. This year, her elder brother, Varun Tej is all set to make his acting debut and she says that she's extremely excited for him. "He went to an acting school and when I was planning to make my debut on TV, he gave me a lot of tips about facing the camera," she said. Tamil actor Suriya has accepted Mammootty's "My tree challenge".

Mammootty had earlier challenged Tamil actors Vijay, Suriya and Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan to plant a tree to make our world greener and a better place to live.

The thought of "My Tree Challenge" came to light after "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" gained popularity.

"My Tree Challenge" is a noble initiative and a new eco-revolution movement started by environment enthusiasts Abdul Manaf, an entrepreneur and Imthias Kadeer, a travel photographer. It was actor Fahadh Faasil who nominated Mammootty for the challenge.

Now, Mammootty's challenge has gained more popularity and is taken up by many celebrities and fans.

Actor Suriya has accepted Mammootty's challenge by planting a coconut sapling. He later nominated Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, Kannada actor Sudeep and Telugu actor Mahesh Babu.

"Dear Mammootty sir, I take up "My Tree Challenge". Lot of happiness and this is very close to me. I would also like to nominate Mr. Aamir Khan, Mr. Sudeep , my another dear friend Mahesh Babu and all their fans and ofcourse my fans too to support this wonderful cause. Thanks," said Suriya.

Meanwhile, Tamil actor Vijay also reportedly took up Mammootty's challenge and has decided to plant 25,000 saplings and is said to be interested in challenging school children to accept the challenge. Abdul Ghani, the brain child of APJ Abdul Kalam's "Green Kalam Project" will help Vijay in this project.

Many actors and celebrities, including Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Rima Kallingal, Aashiq Abu, Ranjith Shankar, Alphonse Putharen, Jude Anthany Joseph, and Renjini Haridas have taken up the challenge.

Since Vijay and Suriya have taken up the challenge, audience are now eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh Khan to accept the challenge and lead the revolution to a bigger space.

There's a lot of buzz about the upcoming Ajith-Gautham Menon film. Pretty much everything about the film is being kept under wraps. We nail the elusive Gautham for a chat, and get him talking about this film, Ajith, Suriya and more. Gautham maintains, "I cannot reveal anything about Ajith's role, because the treatment of the film is such that during the first 45 minutes, the audience will be guessing who the man is. It's a character-driven film and Ajith's character, Sathyadev, is also a good sketch for a sequel. And if things go well, I can even come up one." But he gets candid about everything else. Excerpts...

Finally, a film with Ajith. How did it happen?
I wanted Ajith to act in Kaakha Khaakha and had approached him first. Then, it went to Vikram and then, finally Suriya. I was also supposed to do a film with Ajith when he was about to start Asal, then again, during Mankatha. We discussed a project, but couldn't start it. I don't have any reason as to why it didn't happen, it just didn't. Now, when the Suriya project was shelved and I was wondering what's next, Ajith's film came my way.

When Suriya released a statement saying he was walking out Dhruvva Natchathiram, why didn't you react?
He'd stated that I didn't tell him the script. But the question is, whether I didn't tell him the script at all, or didn't tell him the one he'd like to hear. I was disappointed, but only for three hours. After that, I just moved on. That night itself we started the Simbu film. The next week we started filming with Ajith. Since then things have only got better, so I thought why even talk about it.

Will you work with Suriya again?
Right now, I don't see that happening. Somewhere two people have to connect. Whenever I write a script, Trisha has been my first choice for lead because we have a good connect - like I feel with Ajith and the comfort level that I always feel with Simbu... till I feel that connect with somebody, I am not looking to work with that person.

Have you gone out of your comfort zone and added commercial elements for a mass hero?
When we sat and discussed the project, Ajith told me, 'let's make a film that you are comfortable with'. Even if I try to infuse extra commercial elements just for him, he usually says no to it. And also, I don't know how to commercialise anything, I have never done that. There is absolutely no pressure on me from any side.

Romance is your forte. Can we get to see a romantic Ajith?
Yes, absolutely. The audience will get to see a romantic Ajith in this film. We've shot a romantic song, Mazhai Varapoguthey, recently with Ajith and he has done it beautifully.

You haven't announced a title for this film, yet.
We have a title, but we want to wait before announcing it. There is so much buzz around it and this is exactly what a hero's film is all about. We are planning to release the film this December and the audio launch in November - we're planning to announce the title around this time.

We've heard that Ajith doesn't want his character's name highlighted in the title...
What you have heard is true...

When will you start working on the Simbu film again?
I have got just 30 days' shoot left for that film. I will re-start it as soon as I finish the current one. I know there are rumours that it has been shelved, but as I said earlier, I should be either rich or weird to drop this film. I am neither, so I will definitely start that film in December.


Suriya's 'Masss' First Look Teaser, Posters, Wallpapers to Release Soon

The first look of Suriya's "Masss" is all set to be released soon. This exciting news has been confirmed by "Masss" director Venkat Prabhu.

The shooting of "Masss" has already commenced and the team has completed two schedules in Chennai. The film's team is currently on a break and is all set to resume the shooting soon. Suriya and Nayanthara have taken part in the shooting, while Amy Jackson of "Ai" fame is expected to join the team soon.

This is the first time that Suriya has teamed up with director Venkat Prabhu for a new film. Their collaboration has raised expectations for fans as Venkat Prabhu is having a good track record of hit films, like "Chennai 28", "Saroja" and "Mankatha."

"Masss" is touted to be a horror comedy entertainer. Buzz is that Suriya will be appearing in two different looks in the film. "He will be seen wearing his hair long for the first time. A Mumbai-based stylist has worked on his look. It will be a complete image makeover for him. However, he will not be seen in long hair throughout... he has another look in the film as well, but it is kept under wraps," a source close to the film's unit told the Times of India.

The film has Jayaram, Premgi Amaren, Karunas and Parthiepan in pivotal roles. Its music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography will be handled by RD Rajasekar and editing will be done by Praveen KL.

Suriya's last release "Anjaan" opened to negative reviews from critics. The film took a fantastic opening, but poor reviews marred its business.

With "Anjaan" turning out to be an average grosser, the focus has now shifted on "Masss." Fans would be expecting nothing short of a blockbuster from the actor-director duo. Whether the film will able to impress the audience or not is something one needs to wait and watch.

"Masss" is expected to hit the screens in 2015.

Box Office Collection: 'Anjaan' Declared Average; 'Irumbu Kuthirai' Gets Decent Opening

Irumbu Kuthirai

The Atharvaa starrer has taken a decent opening, despite receiving negative reviews from critics.

"Irumbu Kuthirai" minted ₹47.39 lakh in its opening weekend at the Chennai box office. The film witnessed average theatre occupancy of 60 percent in Chennai, reported Behindwoods.

"Irumbu Kuthirai" hit screens on 29 August, but the film opened to poor reviews from critics. However, the long weekend (29-31 August) seems to have helped the film amass decent collections. It needs to be seen as to how the Atharvaa starrer fares on week days.


Directed by Yuvaraj Bose, "Irumbu Kuthirai" has Atharavaa playing the role of a biker. The film also has Priya Anand, Johnny Tri Nguyen, Raai Laxmi, Devadarshini and Jagan in supporting roles. It is produced by AGS Entertainment and the music is composed by G.V. Prakash.

Anjaan

Suriya's "Anjaan" has been declared average. The film, which released on 15 August, received fantastic openings at the box office. However, negative reviews have affected the film's business and it witnessed a drop in collections. The gangster flick has minted over ₹4 crore at the end of the third weekend in Chennai and is still being screened in several theatres across Chennai. 

Directed by Lingusamy, "Anjaan" has Suriya appearing as a gangster. The film also has Samantha, Soori, Manoj Bajpai, Dalip Tahil and Vidyut Jamwal in pivotal roles. The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and UTV Motion Pictures, Thirrupathi Brothers have produced the big budget entertainer.

Salim

Vijay Antony's "Salim" has fetched decent reviews from the critics. The film also took an above average opening and minted over ₹43 lakh in the first weekend at the Chennai box office, reported Behindwoods.

Of all the new releases that hit the screens on Ganesh Chathurthi, "Salim" is the only film that has managed to get good feedback from critics. Positive word of mouth is likely to help the film rake in some decent collections at the box office.

Directed by N.V. Nirmal Kumar, "Salim" has Vijay playing the title role. Aksha Pardasany plays his love interest, while R.N.R. Manohar and Swaminathan appear in supporting roles.

Megha

Ashwin Kakumanu's "Megha" has taken a poor opening at the Chennai box office. The film was released less number of shows and earned only over ₹68,000.

"Megha" hasn't got favourable reviews and the film doesn't seem to stand a chance against other new releases at the box office.

Mammootty Kick Starts 'My Tree Challenge'; Nominates Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay and Suriya

Inspired by the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge", Malayalam superstar Mammootty has kick started a new campaign called "My Tree Challenge".

The actor began the campaign by planting a sapling with an aim to make the world a greener and better place to live.

He has now nominated Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Tamil superstars Suriya and Vijay to take up the challenge.

"As you all know 'ALS Ice Bucket Challenge' is being viral online and offline media. I proudly kick start a novel concept called 'My Tree challenge'. I request all my friends from the Malayalam Film Industry and all Facebook friends to join in for the good cause and make this world a greener place to live in. I challenge Shah Rukh Khan from Bollywood, Vijay and Surya from Tamil Film Industry to plant a sapling and join this Eco revolution," Mammootty posted on his Facebook page.

The "Munnariyippu" actor also added the importance of planting a tree at this time of urbanization, as it has many benefits, including filtering the contaminated air, recycling of water, reducing the soil erosion among others. He also went on to remind other advantages like creating an ecosystem that is suitable for birds and other forms of life surrounding it.

The actor also urged to make efforts to plant trees whenever and where ever possible and to inspire family, friends and neighbours to save the resources for the future generations as well, which nature has bestowed us with.

"The campaign "My Tree Challenge" is not just a slogan to speak or to listen. It is a motto which should be followed by all so as to save our nature for ourselves and our upcoming generation. Hence, it is also a great opportunity for people who have always wanted to be 'a part of a healthy environment. Let's be a model to the children in respecting our nature and environment. Our world is precious and we are meant to keep it that way," the actor added.

Recently, Mammootty also initiated another social media campaign called "Addicted to Life" in association with the Kerala State Beverages Corporation.

"Addicted to Life" is a year long campaign aimed to curb the usage of drugs and to create awareness among the youths in colleges and schools.

Meanwhile, the new campaign "My Tree Challenge" has been already taken up by the fans of the superstar.

Now, one will have to wait and see whether Shah Rukh, Suriya and Vijay will take up Mammootty's challenge.
