The much-awaited "Yennai Arindhaal" teaser, starring Ajith, is all set to be released in a few hours from now.
The time has been set at 12am for the teaser release and one can expect fans to keep awake till midnight in a bid to get a glimpse of the teaser.
Expectations are sky high for the teaser, which is evident from social media sites. The hashtag #YennaiArindhaalTeaserStormOnDec4 has been trending for the last several hours. It remains to be seen if the teaser will appease the fans.
"Yennai Arindhaal" teaser is expected to set new records in terms of viewership. In the recent times, it has become a norm for teasers of big Tamil films to easily surpass the 10-lakh mark (1 million).
Teasers of films such as "Anjaan," "Lingaa," "Kaththi" and "I" were able to cross the 1 million mark within few hours. Particularly, Vikram starrer "I" created new record by getting 1 million views within 12 hours. It surpassed the record created by Bollywood film "Bang Bang", which crossed the 1 million mark in 13 hours.
"I" also became the first South film to cross the 8 million mark. The teasers of Ajith's last releases "Arrambam" and "Veeram" received tremendous response from the fans. "Yennai Arindhaal" teaser is also likely to get a huge response from the audience and it will be interesting to see if the Ajith starrer will be able to break the record and get more viewership in less time.
The film is one of the most-anticipated projects of 2015. The first-time collaboration between director Gautham Menon and Ajith has generated a huge buzz surrounding the project. The action thriller flick is expected to satisfy both the masses and the classes.
Ajith will be appearing as a police officer in the film and he will be sporting four different looks including a salt-and-pepper look and a mass avatar. Anushka and Trisha will be romancing Thala, while Arun Vijay is reportedly playing the baddie. Vivek, Parvathy Nair, baby Anikha and Rajasimman are also part of the cast.
The film's music is composed by Harris Jayaraj, while the cinematography is handled by Dan MacArthur. The audio rights of the film have been bagged by Sony Music and the audio launch event is expected to happen in late December.
Produced by Sri Sai Ram Creations, "Yennai Arindhaal" is slated for Pongal release. The Telugu version of the film is titled as "Yentha Vaadu Gaanie." It needs to be seen if the Telugu version will release along with the Tamil version on the same day.
