Director Prabhu Deva's much-talked about film "Action Jackson" starring Ajay Devgn in the lead, is set to hit the screens on 5 December. The movie has been creating ripples in the media ever since it was announced.
Here are 10 reasons why you should watch "Action Jackson".
1. Interesting story
"Action Jackson" is action comedy film for which Prabhu Deva has penned the story in association with AC Mughil. The movie is about a fun loving guy, who is a small-time crook. What happens when he falls in love with a relentless girl will form the crux of the story.
2. Movie for both mass and class audience
The film offers a dose of all the commercial elements like romance, dance, action, comedy and music, which will appeal the mass audience, while its beautiful love story and situational comedy are aimed to attract the class audience.
3. Trend-setter punch dialogues
Director Prabhu Deva is known for his trademark dialogues in Salman Khan's "Wanted", Shahid Kapoor's "R...Rajkumar" and Akshay Kumar's "Rowdy Rathore". "Action Jackson" is not an exception to this rule as it also boasts of many punch dialogues.
4. High on glamour quotient
The film features three actresses - Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam and Manasvi Mamgai - who will be the among the main highlights of the film.
5. Devgn-Sonakshi palpable chemistry
The amazing chemistry between Devgn and Sonakshi has been one of the key factors for the huge success of "Son of Sardar". As per the trailer of "Action Jackson", their chemistry is light-hearted, cute and palpable. It is surely a big plus point for the film. Especially, their humorous scenes would impress the viewers.
6. Devgn's sword fighting
Devgn has done lot of hard work to gain the toed body for "Action Jackson" and he has also done some amazing action scenes in the film. Especially, his sword-fighting scenes are sure to thrill the action lovers. Another interesting factor is that he sports his bare body in a two-and-a-half-minute fight sequence.
7. Devgn's dance
Devgn has won the heart of viewers through his performances in action, comedy and romance, but dancing is one skill that he has not shined much. Audience will get to see his dancing skills in "Action Jackson". Prabhu Deva, also a choreographer, has created some new dance moves to suit Devgn's body language.
8. Situational comedy
"Action Jackson" is high on entertainment quotient and its trailer has hinted some of wonderful comic moments. Unlike Devgn's previous films, this movie does not boast of buffoonery or perverse comedy. The humour in the film is situational.
9 Manasvi's Kalaripattu fight scene
Debutante Manasvi Mamgai, who is known for her dancing skills, has done a Kalaripayattu scene for "Action Jackson" and her Kerala martial arts sequence will be one of the big attractions of the film.
10. Himesh Reshammiya's music
"Action Jackson" has five songs and Himesh Reshammiya has composed music for them. A couple of songs have already become chartbusters. His music will be another big reason to look out for the film.
However, it should not be forgotten "Action Jackson" boasts of Prabhu Deva's direction and screenplay, which will definitely be the main strength of the film.
