Puneet Rajkumar, who has worked with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for the first time in the upcoming Kannada movie "Mythri", has shared his excitement about working with the Mollywood actor.
Puneet has said that he is a big fan of Mohanlal and is fortunate to have worked with the superstar in "Mythri".
"I'm a big fan of Lal sir and I'm lucky to be sharing screen space with him. We worked together for the movie for three days," the Kannada star told the Suvarna News.
The "Jackie" star adds, "I have requested him to give an opportunity to work with him in a Malayalam film and I'm willing to do even a small character for him."
Mohanlal shares a special friendship with the first family of Sandalwood. "He knew my father. He has come to our home a lot of times and very close to our family," Puneet claims and added that "Mohanlal sir is a great human being."
Mohanlal had earlier acted in the Kannada movie "Love" and the upcoming flick is his second Sandalwood movie.
However, talking about "Mythri", Puneet said that its shooting has been completed and the dubbing works are going on. It is said to have a good concept, which is different from his usual commercial entertainers.
Puneet has admitted that "Mythri" is a children's movie and he has a special role in the movie. The Power Star is curiously looking forward to see how the audience will accept his character.
On asking about the release date, Puneet said that it is up to the producer and director to decide but he promised that it will appear before the audience soon. The upcoming movie is directed by newcomer Giriraj and is produced by NS Rajkumar. Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja has done the music and cinematography is handled by Krishna Kumar.
