At a time when Bollywood stars and directors are pouring in their support, sympathy on Swetha Basu Prasad, who is said to be the victim in high-profile sex scandal busted in Hyderabad, Tollywood biggies and actresses remain mum on the issue.
Even the likes of Deepika Padukone, Hansal Mehta, Sakshi Tanwar vouch their support to Makdee actress, no one from Telugu really extended their support to Swetha where she acted in most of her films. Even the actors and directors who worked with her really cared a damn about the shocking incident and totally avoided to talk about it even on the social platforms.
It's clear that still Telugu film industry is conventional and always shuns away from controversies unlike Bollywood which is bold. Is this the reason why actresses like Swetha Basu and Divya Sri feel isolated?
