Mahesh Babu’s film Dookudu has been made in Kannada as Power. The film starring Puneet Rajkumar has Trisha playing the female lead.  Just like Dookudu in Telugu, the film has been declared a blockbuster in Kannada and it has been breaking all records there. 

Incidentally, Power marks the debut of Trisha in Kannada. So, she has been labeled golden leg in Kannada.  

The film made a whopping Rs 15 crore in the first two weeks which was unheard of in Kannada. So, thanks to Power, Trisha is now being flooded with offers in Kannada. It is a known fact that Trisha’s career had slowed down in Telugu and Tamil. With Power,  Trisha is back in reckoning says Tamil media. Though her Bollywood debut ended in a flop, she has proven lucky for the Kannada film industry.
