Actress Raasi has been blessed with a baby girl recently. The delivery took place at a private hospital in Chennai. Both Mother and Baby are said to be in good condition.

Raasi began her career as Child Artiste. 'Subhakankshalu' was her first break as an actress and dared to play a negative character in 'Nijam'. She even began doing Item Numbers when the down trend in her career began. The dance numbers in films like 'Samudram' and 'Venky' have been appreciated the audience.

From 2004, Raasi's wasn't quite active as an actress and she was seen in quite a few films. She tied the knot with a director and devoting most of her time to family ever since then. It is learnt that she has been operating a Play School since few years.

Raasi believes the birth of baby girl on Friday marks the entry of Goddess Lakshmi into her family. Will the new entrant bring good fortune for this Senior Glam Doll?
