Manchu Vishnu found fault with the way police and media dealt Swetha Basu Prasad's prostitution episode. He opined Swetha Basu became a soft target just because she was a film celeb and questioned why the identities of businessman has been safe guarded. "Swetha Basu won National Award at the age of 11. Its really unfortunate that she was involved in such a mess. I will offer a good role to her in my upcoming film," he announced.
To everyone's surprise, Vishnu promised to hold a screening of 'Anukshanam' to Media and Critics Today (3 days before the release). He claims to have created 100 distributors with 'Film On Auction' introduced through this psycho thriller and informs 150 screens will add to 'Anukshanam' with the postponement of the film to September 13th.
When asked why he is taking the risk by choosing experimental films, Vishnu replied he wants to be known as an actor rather than a star. "People have remembered only My Dad, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh among the actors of our previous generation, just because of the experiments they have done. I wish to follow their path," asserts Manchu Boy.
