Anupama Bhat faced elimination before the final week of "Bigg Boss" Kannada Season 2.
The elimination episode was aired on 28 September and Anupama was knocked out based on the viewers voting. Meanwhile, Swetha Changappa, Deepika Kamaiah, Akul Balaji and Srujan Lokesh got in to the finals.
As expected, the 90th episode of the show was filled with some emotional moments and memories flooded back to the contestants when former participants Neethu Shetty and Santhosh Kumar talked to them over the phone.
As usual, the host of the show Kichcha Sudeep was in his self during the elimination announcement and sang the song "Oora Kannu" from his film "Ranga SSLC" on contestant's request. The weekend episode also had actress Malashri as a guest who entertained everyone with the best of her wits and talks.
It was Srujan who was called safe at first, followed by Akul. Akul thanked Sudeep and viewers who voted for him. The next on the safe list was Deepika. After few nail biting moments, Sudeep announced Shwetha name for the final episode and eventually Anupama was eliminated from the episode.
Anupama was nominated every week throughout the series, but managed to survive each time. Meanwhile, Anupama took the elimination episode in a good spirit and was spotted cherishing her memories in "Bigg Boss".
Anupama later said that it was a challenge to live inside "Bigg Boss" house and to adjust to the situations there. She also confessed that it was equally scary for her to survive and thanked her best friend in the house, Srujan for all his support.
As the final week approached, Sudeep also went emotional. His latest tweet conveyed that he would miss the show and congratulated Suvarna Channel and the "Bigg Boss" team for their efforts.
"Last weekend bfr finale..surly wil miss th show n th weekend travel to Lonavala..Suvarna channel did a grt job..Kudos to th entire team," Sudeep tweeted.
The final week of "Bigg Boss 2" is expected to be the most interesting as the house is left with two sets of friends. Srujan and Swetha have shared good times in the house and are known as the best friends.
Meanwhile, Akul and Deepika stood for each other in tough times. Now, the audience are eagerly waiting to see whether contestants would stick to each other in the task that will be given to them in the final week of the show and to know the winner for "Bigg Boss" Season 2.
