Karunakaran-Bobby Simha's "Aadama Jaichomada" has fetched decent reviews from the critics.
Directed by Badri of "Thillu Mullu" (remake) fame, "Aadama Jaichomada" is a comedy entertainer that deals with cricket betting.
Vijayalakshmi of "Chennai 28" fame, Balaji Venugopal, K. S. Ravi Kumar, Radha Ravi, Aadukalam Naren and Chetan are also part of the film's cast. Mirchi Shiva has written the dialogues, while Sean Roldan has scored the soundtracks for the film.
Plot: Cops are on the lookout for a bookie named Dhayalan (Balaji Venugopal) who is in the spot-fixing business. The police come to know that the bookie is planning to buy off a player, who will be playing in the semi final match to be held in Chennai. The city police commissioner asks his officers Bhoominathan (Bobby Simha) and his assistant Mariadass (Chetan) to find the bookie before the match happens.
One day, Dhayalan hires a taxi to meet the cricket player. On his way, he chats with the taxi driver Panneer (Karunkaran) who shares his financial woes with him. Dhayalan promises to help him, but when Panneer goes to see Dhayalan at a hotel, he finds him dead. Cops suspect Panneer and arrest him. What happens to Panneer? Who are the real killers? All these are answered as the film progresses towards the end.

"Running for just 2 hours, the biggest plus of Aadama Jeichomada is the director's strength to fill the movie with unintelligence - be it the dialogues, the characters or even the situations - without which the movie would have failed big time. However, one has to admit that he could have totally avoided the speed breaking and tiring duet songs!," according to Behindwoods Review Board.

"The screenplay is very good and Mirchi Shiva's dialogues need a special mention. The quirky oneliners are rib-tickling and the situational humour is excellent. Shiva's voice-over for the narration is an added bonus. Sean Roldan's music is pleasant and the way the songs have been picturised are also funny," according to Galatta.
