Hyderabad: Vishal, popular with both Tamil and Telugu audiences, will now be doing a Telugu film after a long time. “Sashikanth is the director and the film will start rolling this December,” says Vishal. “My parents always wanted me to do another Telugu film, so I have been listening to many scripts over the last couple of years, and Sashikanth’s script was good,” says Vishal.
At present the actor is shooting for his film Pooja, an action-entertainer, in Hyderabad. Hari of Singam fame is the director. Shruti Haasan who is the film’s female lead has also sung a song in this film. Apart from these two films, Vishal has signed another Tamil film which has six female leads! “Most of the yesteryear actresses Ramya Krishna, Kiran Rathod and Aishwarya are there along with Madhurima and Hansika. One more actress is to be finalised,” he says.
Vishal also shared that director Bala has offered him another film. “It is still in the discussions stage and will be finalised soon,” says Vishal.
