According to highly-placed sources, Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is going to do the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi. Rumour mill is abuzz that SRK is too much in love with the family entertainer ever since he watched it.

SRK apparently invited writer-director Trivikram Srinivas to Mumbai and the latter obliged and narrated the story to the Bollywood superstar a while ago, say sources. SRK was too much impressed with Trivikram's narration and has given a go ahead.

Reliance Entertainments Pvt Ltd, which co-produced Attarintiki Daredi in Telugu, is likely to produce the film in Hindi as well. However, this is not SRK's first Telugu remake as earlier he had acted in Shakti: The Power, Hindi remake of Telugu film Anthapuram. Krishna Vamsi had directed SRK in the film and SRK was seen in a short role. It's been a while SRK has done a family entertainer in Bollywood and the 48-year-old is now keen to reprise Pawan Kalyan. So, if all goes well SRK is going to step into the shoes of Pawan. This is certainly big news for all Pawan fans.
