Actor Suriya will reportedly be sporting two looks, including one with a long hair, in his upcoming film "Masss".
"He will be seen wearing his hair long for the first time. A Mumbai-based stylist has worked on his look. It will be a complete image makeover for him. However, he will not be seen in long hair throughout... he has another look in the film as well, but it is kept under wraps," a source close to the film's unit told the Times of India.
The shooting of "Masss" is currently progressing in Chennai. Apparently, director Venkat Prabhu has been getting lots of suggestions and advice from Suriya fans on how to make a film after the actor's latest release "Anjaan" received mixed feedback.
The director himself tweeted about this on his Twitter handle. "Gd mg tweeps!! Just packed up shoot! Astonished 2 c so many advices on how to make a film! Happened 2 me during #mankatha shoot!! #masss," he tweeted.
This is the first time that Venkat has teamed up with Suriya. Expectations are high for "Masss" as the director is in good form with back-to-back successful films.
With "Anjaan" receiving mixed feedbacks, fans would be hoping "Masss" to perform well at the box office.
"Masss" is touted to be a child-friendly, horror comedy entertainer and will have Nayanthara and Amy Jackson of "Madrasapattinam" fame as the female leads.
Premgi Amaren, a regular in all Venkat's films, will be doing a pivotal role in "Masss" also. Partheipan is also confirmed to be part of the project, while there is a buzz is that Malayalam actor Jayaram (who played the villain role in Venkat's "Saroja") has been roped in to do a pivotal role in the film.
The film's music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is working with the director for the sixth time. Madhan Karky will be writing the dialogues, while cinematography will be handled by RD Rajasekar. The film's editing will be done by Praveen KL and will be his 50th project.
"Masss" shooting will reportedly progress in Chennai till this month end. The film is expected to hit the screens only next year.
