Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor starrer "Singham Returns" is on a roll. After beating opening day box office collection record of Salman Khan's "Kick", Devgn's "Singham Returns" has crossed the ₹50 crore mark in just two days.
The film directed by Rohit Shetty held well on Saturday and raked in ₹21.05 crore. "Singham Returns" witnessed around 30 to 35 percent drop on second day after a holiday on opening day. But being a semi-holiday on Saturday "Singham Returns" performed extremely well.

The two days collection of "Singham Returns" has also crossed the week one business of its prequel film "Singham". The first instalment of Shetty's directorial film "Singham" was a super hit film and it minted ₹51.25 crore in its first week. But the second instalment has shown excellent growth and earned ₹53 crore in just two days.

Independence Day holiday on day one boosted the collection in several circuits in India, especially in North India. Also, the word of mouth is helping the business of the film to grow during the weekend.
Mumbai, Pune, National Capital Region (NCR) and CP Berar circuits have performed their best compared to others on opening day and on Saturday.
The two days business of the film is in the same range as Khan's "Kick" and weekend business of "Singham Returns" will also be in the same range.
"Kick" minted ₹83 crore in first weekend, "Singham Returns" is also expected to show same trend and earn more than ₹80 crore.
