Industry sources claim that business tycoon-turned-producer Lagadapati Sridhar has reportedly pumped in more than 14 crores in Telugu version of "sikandar" and it could be big gamble, considering the tanda openings at the box office, due to a non-impressive plot and routine stuff. T-town producer took a break from production after making losses in films like "Style', "Snehageetham" and returned with Machu Manoj's "Potugadu" but he couldn't break even. 

Now gone all out to put all his money in the combination of Surya-Linguswamy and even promoting expensively, but it seems that he would find difficult to recover his huge investment because for star films first week collections are crucial but it hasn't really set box ofifice on fire, so lets see whether his gamble pays or not?
