. Let us take a look at the movie review and story.
The story of Maaya turns around the life of a girl (Avantika) who is blessed with extra sensory perception. In her childhood, she had seen the death of her mother that she had merely forgotten. She grown up and became a journalist and one day met Sidharth (Harshvardhan). Both of them fall in love and were spending quality time together, but a twist come in the story when Meghana with her extra sensory perception see Sidharth killing someone.
She trys to enquire about him and some unexpected situations befalls and story moves on. Finally, whether Meghana come to know about the killer of her mother or not and manages to unveil the truth behind everything is the watch of the movie.
Neelakanta has woven fairly good screenplay that holds the attention of viewer in the entire movie. The engaging story is appealing and tightly knitted. Avantika portrayed the role of female lead with great finesse and her performance is laudable. Harshvardhan looks handsome and with his ultimate expressions seamlessly slips into the role.
The storyline is laced with the heavy subject of sixth sense, but dealt lightly. Pleasant music sync well with the theme and every passing scene of 'Maaya'. The master of screenplay thrills the audience to the core. Technically, film is perfect and art direction is commendable. Watch Maaya that keeps you nail biting till the end.
RedGoli Rating: 3/5
