The makers of Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" have confirmed to release its much-awaited teaser on 4 December.
Actor Arun Vijay has confirmed the teaser release date on his Twitter handle. "The much awaited #YennaiArindhaal teaser... Day After!! :)," he tweeted.
The team is following the Thursday sentiment once again by releasing the teaser on the auspicious day, which is considered special for Sai Baba. The makers of "Yennai Arindhaal" are ardent devotees of Sai Baba and Thursday is considered to be lucky for Ajith as well as the film's producer AM Ratnam.
It remains to be seen if the teaser will impress the audience and boost the expectations surrounding the film.
Directed by Gautham Menon, "Yennai Arindhaal" is a musical action thriller with Ajith, Anushka and Trisha in the lead roles. The film also has Vivek, baby Anikha and Rajasimman of "Kuttipuli" fame in supporting roles.
Harris Jayaraj has composed the songs, while Dan Macarthur has handled the cinematography.
The film's shooting is in its last leg and is likely to be wrapped up soon. All the songs in the film including Trisha's solo song have been completed and fight sequence in Binny Mills is also over. The team is currently busy shooting a chase sequence on the busy roads of Chennai, using candid mode (guerrilla film-making) without public knowledge, reported Behindwoods.
Once the shooting is completed, the team will get into the post-production work. The audio is expected to be released later this month, while the trailer might come out in the first week of January. The film is likely to hit the screens on 9 January as a Pongal treat for the fans.
