Nagababu's son and actor Varun Tej, who is all poised for his grand debut with Mukunda, has cleared the air by revealing the reason behind Pawan Kalyan's absence for the audio launch of his film held on Wednesday night. "My Babai Power Star is in Varanasi shooting for Gopala Gopala. Wherever he is, his best wishes are always with me. He has sent me text message wishing best wishes. Thank you Babayi," said Varun.

"I'm standing on this dais today because of one and only Chiranjeevi garu. He has paved path for everyone of us. He had come alone and proved himself on his own. He's true inspiration for all of us," Varun added.

Welcoming Varun into film industry, Chiru said that Varun would achieve what Nagababu couldn't due to various reasons.
