Aamir Khan is getting ready for his biggest-ever release in the form of "PK", and the anticipation and predictions of its performance at the box office have already begun.
People are now curiously waiting to see if Aamir Khan's "PK" registers the biggest opening on 19 December, to beat Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year". Even though the film is not releasing on a holiday, there are good chances of Aamir's flick creating history.
"Happy New Year" had earned ₹44 crore on the release day. Below, we list out the reasons why the film will break the records of Shah Rukh's film.
Solo Release
Aamir Khan's "PK" will have a solo release, due to which it is set to get an undivided attention from the audience, unlike "Happy New Year" that clashed with a few movies including Tamil movie "Kaththi".
6000 Screens
"PK" is releasing in a massive 5200 screens in India and this is the biggest screen count for an Aamir Khan film. His previous record was 4400 (3 Versions) for his "Dhoom" 3 last year. However, Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year" was released in 5000 screens. The Aamir Khan's film has an advantage of 200 screens and this will be one of the factors, which will help Aamir's film to perform better than Shah Rukh's flick.
Successful Jodi
The Aamir Khan-Rajkumar Hirani jodi adds more value to the project. Aamir-Hirani have earlier delivered "3 Idiots", which is one of the biggest hits of all time. The duo joining hands is sure to attract more crowd than Shah Rukh Khan-Farah Khan's Jodi in "Happy New Year".
Shah Rukh Khan was the sole crowd-pulling factor in his recent movie, which is not the case with Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's "PK".
Positive Reviews Out
"PK" not only has a positive buzz around it, but has also garnered a good review from those who have watched it. Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's good words about the film will give a big boost to it.

Aamir Khan is often known for creating records. He has one of the biggest fan followings across the nation and all the afore-mentioned factors combined with Aamir will evidently bring the film a bumper opening.
