"Bigg Boss 8" contestants have made their presence felt throughout the film industry. After Ali Quli Mirza, now Gautam Gulati has reportedly bagged a role in a sports biopic.
"M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" is a biopic which features Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. According to reports, the director Neeraj Pandey has roped in several A-list actors who will play real-life cricketers in the biopic.
Earlier, there rumours that Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja will be playing the role of cricketer Suresh Raina. And now reports are doing the round that the makers have reportedly signed in Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan, John Abraham, Aftab Shivdasani, Irrfan Khan, Satish Kaushik and Gautam Gulati, BollywoodLife.com reported.
"Alia is touted to be playing MSD's wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni. While John Abraham is to play fast bowler Ishant Sharma, Fawad Khan will be seen playing Virat Kohli, Bigg Boss 8 contestant Gautam Gulati will be essaying Zaheer Khan's character and Aftab Shivdasani will be seen as Joginder Sharma," BollywoodLife.com reported quoting a source.
Irrfan will be playing the role of Gurunath Meiyappan, Satish Kaushik will portray the character of N Srinivasan.
However, there is no official announcement from the makers of "M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story".
But if Gautam has been confirmed for Zaheer Khan's role then it would be first Bollywood film with A-list actors. Gautam shot to fame with the serial "Diya Aur Baati Hum", but he has worked in a short film titled "Darpok". He also walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year.
Meanwhile, another contestant, Ali, from "Bigg Boss 8" house has bagged a role in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" director Kabir Khan's movie.
