The most-awaited trailer of the year - Rajinikanth's Lingaa - is finally out and yes, it opened to a roaring response. It's Rajini's show all the way. Rajini's arresting personality, his trademark one-liners, his love for country, people give you goosebumps and made the film more anticipating. It also revealed that most of the film depicts on the flashback where Rajini plays a collector in British era. If the trailer is anything to go by, Rajinikanth would be seen in two shades.

Anushka Shetty who plays Lakshmi in the film is seen as glam doll whereas Sonakshi Sinha essays the role of village belle and both revved up the glam quotient. The film's ensemble cast include the likes of Jagapathi Babu and veteran K. Viswanath. AR Rahman's background music works in favour of the film. Cinematography is top notch and the trailer promises that the film is visual splendour. Especially, songs are set against picturesque sets.

KS Ravi Kumar, who churned out super blockbusters like Muthu, Narasimha (Padayappa), is back with another such social drama where Rajini is seen as 'Man of the Masses'. The trailer looks promising and entices more interest. Looks like, expectations are bound to reach new heights after the trailer. However, the trailer ends on a suspense note whether the movie would release on Rajini's birthday- Dec 12 or not with Rajini saying, "See you soon." Meanwhile we hear that the music, composed by Rahman, will be released on Nov 16.
