Vasanthabalan's "Kaaviya Thalaivan" is set in pre-independence era. Siddharth, Malayalam star Prithiviraj,Vedhika and Nasser are in the key roles in the historical-fiction.
It is the most-expensive project of Vasanthabalan's career and people get glimpses of the riches in the trailer, songs and posters of "Kaaviya Thalaivan". The story of two drama troupe artistes and their competition in the gone era forms the crux of the story.
The Tamil movie has got good attention with its audio and other promotional materials. "Kaaviya Thalaivan" is the biggest release of the month and the industry has kept high expectations from the movie.
"Kaaviya Thalaivan" has Oscar Award winner AR Rahman's music, Nirav Shah's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing. The Tamil film is jointly produced by Varun Manian and S Sashikanth.
