Everything about a Vijay movie is special. The news of the actor doing a movie with director Atlee has made headlines and the latest buzz in the town is that the music of the upcoming entertainer is composed by GV Prakash. For the music composer, this project is special as it is the 50th film for which he is composing the music.
The excited GV Prakash has posted the news of his upcoming movie on his Twitter page.
"It's official ... #GV50 is with my dear #Ilayathalapathy @Vijay_cjv ...the combo is back", tweeted GV
GV had earlier teamed up with Ilayathalapathy for his 2013 action movie "Thalapathi" directed by AL Vijay. This is the composer's second movie with Atlee. The two had worked together for "Raja Rani" starring Arya and Nayanthara in the lead. Music of both the films received rave reviews.
"Raja Rani" which went on to become a super hit was Atlee's debut film.
The film which is presently called as "Vijay 59" is said to be an action thriller and will be produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. However, the team has not yet revealed anything more about the story. However, rumours suggest that Nayanthara will play the lead heroine in the movie.
According to reports, the director has approached his "Raja Rani" heroine, Nayanthara, to play the lead in his latest movie and the actress is impressed with the script of the movie. But, it is still not clear whether the actress has given her nod for the film as she has many other projects lined up.
Meanwhile, Vijay has begun the shooting of his 58th movie directed by Chimbudevan in Chennai. The film reportedly has a budget of Rs. 90 crores and will be shot in the different locations of India.
"Vijay 58," is touted as a fantasy entertainer and will have the star cast of Shruthi Haasan, Sreedevi, Sudeep and Hansika Motwani in pivotal roles. The film reportedly has lot of graphics and VFX works which will be carried out by Makuta VFX who had done graphics for films like "NaanEe" and Magadheera". This big-budget entertainer will be produced by PT Selvakumar and Shibu of Thameens Films.
