Long ago, Puri Jagannadh bought the film-making rights for Malladi Venkata Krishnamurthy's novel Miss Parankusam. Puri also thought of a title and decided on Jyothilakshmi. At the time, he said that Charmme would be the heroine.
But apparently, he immediately put a condition that she should shed at least 10 kilos for the role. Well, it is a known fact that Charmme is a chubby Punjabi girl and it is being said that she has been spending half of her day at the gym.
Apparently, she has started eating fruits and raw vegetables. Charmme did shed quite a few kilos in the past too. But since she had no films on hand, she put on kilos later. Now, she is slogging it out to look slim and fit in her forthcoming films.
