Director Abhishek Sharma's much-talked about movie "The Shaukeens", which features the ensemble cast of Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles, is scheduled to release in theatres on 7 November. Here are 10 reasons why the film goers should not miss it.

1. "The Shaukeens" is a remake of 1982 cult-classic movie "Shaukeen", which was high on the comic quotient. It is the latest venture of director Abhishek Sharma, who made us crack up with his last venture "Tere Bin Laden". The film is going to be a laugh riot.

2. Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has earlier written and directed movies like "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster", "Paan Singh Tomar" and "Bullet Raja", has worked on the script of "The Shaukeens". He has made several changes in the modern adaptation of "Shaukeen" to woo the audience.

3. Besides having wonderful acting skills, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra are also known for their well-timed comic moments. They are said to tickle your funny bones with their hilarious performances in "The Shaukeens".

4. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar has made an extended special appearance in "The Shaukeens". He is playing an alcoholic superstar and his performance is said to be one of the main highlights of the film.

5. Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have made special appearances in the movie. Abhi's impeccable comic timings and Bebo's aura will be among the major attractions of the film.

6. Suniel Shetty, who shares great on-screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar, is playing a guest role in the movie. His portions are also said to rock you.

7. Dimple Kapadia is doing a cameo in "The Shaukeens". Interestingly, this is the first time she will be seen in a film starring her son-in-law Akshay. She says that the scene featuring her is very "tempting".

8 Yo Yo Honey Singh, Hard Kaur, Vikram Nagi and Arko Mukherjee have composed music of six songs of "The Shaukeens". Tracks like 'Meherbaani' and 'Manali Trance' have already rocked the audiences.

9. Michelle has made a special appearance in the song 'Meherbani' of "The Shaukeens". Her dance number is said to be one of the biggest attractions of the film.

10. Some portions of "The Shaukeens" have been shot in exotic locales of Mauritius. The beautiful picturisation of the place is going to a visual treat.
