Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's Kick sequel is taking fast shape in the hands of director Surender Reddy. And the Race Gurram director has confirmed that Rakul Preet Singh will be playing female lead in the movie.

There were speculations that the lucky mascot, Rakul Preet Singh who is riding high with back to back hit films including recently released Loukyam and Current Theega has opted out of Ravi Teja's Kick 2.

Surender Reddy has denied the rumours confirming Rakul Preet is part of their film. Bollywood actor Raajpal Yadav is playing an important role in Kick 2 that casts Ravi Teja in dual roles.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is producing Kick 2 on NTR Arts banner. SS Thaman is the music director for Kick 2, Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the script.
