The much awaited teaser of the song "Mona Gasolina" of the upcoming Tamil movie "Lingaa" is released. The song features the lead actors Rajinikanth and Anushka Shetty.
The visuals of "Mona Gasolina" are set in three different themes - hi-tech, a Spanish village and pirates, and the teaser of the song does not disappoint the actor's fans. The song has given an insight to the movie, which is now assured to be a mass film.
Rajinikanth is seen back in his "style mannan" (Style King) mode and has taken the whole teaser away with his dance and actions.
The teaser is a visual treat with its lighting, camera, choreography and settings. Rajinikanth and Anushka's screen presence adds more charm to the song.
The song sequences are made in such a way that it talks about the tale of love between the characters with AR Rahman's number.
"Mona Gasolina", which was released on 16 November is reviewed as the best song of "Lingaa", reflecting Rahman's international standards. This fast number is sung by Mano, Neeti Mohan and Tanvi Shah. The song, which is backed up with heavy beats and Spanish lyrics is reportedly the most popular track among the fans.
"Mona Gasolina" has a mass feel with a great foot tapping rhythm and a special appeal is added to it with the guitar. The fast number is a typical Rahman song in its orchestration and composition, which is the mix of international and traditional music.
The whole album of "Lingaa" had received mixed reviews from the audience. When some audience called it the least impressive album of Rahman for a Rajinikanth film, others said the songs are like a slow poison, which will capture the attention each time they listen to it.
Eros Music has bagged the rights of "Lingaa" music and the film is expected to hit the screens on the Style Mannan's 64th birthday, which falls on 12 December.
