Actor-turned-producer Vishnu Manchu's upcoming Telugu movie "Erra Bus" has completed the formalities of the Censor Board and now the song 'Om Namasivaiah' from the movie is creating a big buzz.
"Erra Bus" is a family drama film, which revolves around the story of a great bonding between a grandfather and his grandson. The genre seems to have got the members of the Censor Board enthused. The officials, who watched the film on 8 November, have awarded a 'U' Certificate for the film. Having enjoyed watching the movie, the members applauded the film unit for their efforts.
Directed and produced by Dasari Narayana Rao, "Erra Bus" is a remake of diretcor N Ragavan's Tamil movie Manjapai, which has become big at the box office. The Kollywood comedy film featuring Vimal, Rajkiran and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles is about how an aged villager comes to the city and sets people right.
Keeping the original story, Dasari Narayana Rao has made some changes in the screenplay to suit the taste of the local audience. Vishnu Manchu is playing the role of the grandson originally essayed by Vimal. Besides direction, Dasari will also be seen as grandfather. Catherine Tresa is playing Lakshmi Menon's role in the Telugu version.
"Erra Bus" has six songs and ace musician Chakri, who has collaborated with Dasari Narayana Rao for the first time, has composed music for the soundtracks. Suddala Ashok Teja has penned lyrics for the tracks of the film. The audio of the movie was released at a grand event held in Hyderabad on 31 October. Its songs have been successful in impressing the music lovers across the globe.
Especially, the song 'Om Namasivaiah' is widely heard and the music lovers enjoyed listening to it repeatedly. The film is set to release in theatres on 14 November. In a statement to the media, Dasari Narayan Rao said that "Erra Bus" would strike an immediate connection between theatre audience and the performers, and that the tunes in the film which were gaining popularity would make the film a sure shot winner at the box-office.
