Stand-up comedian, Kapil Sharma, who garnered nationwide popularity with his TV show, ''Comedy Nights With Kapil', has given a shock to Ram Gopal Varma.

Kapil and RGV are supposed to work together for a film. The shooting of the movie is about to start in January, 2015. But Sharma walked out of Varma's project.

The exact reason behind Kapil Sharma denying RGV's film is not known. But sources say that Karan Johar's next is also slated for a release along with Varma's film and so Kapil opted out of the project so as to avoid any clash with Karan.

Earlier Kapil Sharma also opted out of Yash Raj film's 'Bank Chor', when the film was about to go to sets. He is going to produce a film soon on his K9 Productions banner.
