Besides Ultron, the robot that wants to eradicate humanity, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will have two more super villains --Tom Hiddleston's Loki And Idris Elba's Heimdall.
In a recent interview with Telegraph, Elba revealed that he will be back in the second installment of the superhero franchise, saying: "I'm in Avengers. And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [who plays Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they're like, [whispers] – 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'"
Because the recently released trailer of the movie does not feature these villains, it is being speculated that Loki and Heimdall will appear in a flashback segment that Scarlet Witch shows Thor.
The movie has been a rumour magnet, and from the spoilers that have been doing the rounds Movie Pilot has deduced a theory on why Ultron does not see Thor, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as threats.
The main aim of Ultron is to get rid off mankind, as the robot believes mankind is what stands in the way of peace. And among the Avengers, Thor is the only one who is not a human. And as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, they are mutants, and therefore, pose no threat.
The movie will see the twins fighting for Ultron against and Avengers, but as the story progresses, they are expected to switch sides.
The movie begins with Tony Stark building Ultron to captain a robotic police force so that he and the rest of Avengers could abdicate their duties and rest. But things go wrong, as Stark programmed the robot with elements of his own personality.This means that Ultron has inherited Stark's crazy traits such as cynicism, but not other emotions such as sympathy.
"I know you're 'good, I know you mean well... but you just didn't think it through... There is only one path to peace... your extermination," Ultron says in the movie.
Elaborating on Ultron's thought process, director Joss Whedon told Entertainment Weekly: "Ultron sees the big picture and he goes, 'Okay, we need radical change, which will be violent and appalling, in order to make everything better'; he's not just going 'Muhaha, soon I'll rule!' He's on a mission. He wants to save us."
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is set to hit movie theaters on 1 May, 2015.
