Ranbir Kapoor, who was shooting for a television show recently, was overheard talking to a fellow actor about his wedding plans. There has been a buzz that Ranbir, who is currently living with his ladylove Katrina Kaif, might be tying the knot in 2015. But if this latest nugget is true then that might not happen.
The otherwise low-key superstar was overheard saying that he isn’t getting married next year. The actor dropped a hint by saying that 2016 is the deadline his parents have set for him to settle down. “Ranbir’s personal life has been under the scanner. It can be extremely taxing when you know that the media is watching you. From what he said and what I understand, the wedding isn’t happening next year. Yes, his priority is his work and his relationship — but marriage isn’t on the cards yet,” says a source.
On the work front, RK has been signed by his Barfi and Jagga Jasoos director Anurag Basu for a biopic on veteran singer and actor Kishore Kumar. Ranbir will have four big releases in 2015 — Bombay Velvet, Roy, Jagga Jasoos and Tamasha. And if his close chat with his colleague is to be believed then the much awaited Ranbir-Katrina wedding will happen in 2016.
