Telugu family entertainer "Govindudu Andarivadele" ("GAV") has minted over ₹36 crore in nine days at the worldwide box office.

"GAV" has minted ₹22.92 crore share from the AP/Nizam box office, while it earned over ₹7 crore from Karnataka, rest of India and overseas areas. The film's nine-day worldwide collections stand at ₹36.38 crore, according to Andhrabox office (ABO).

The Ram Charan starrer completed the first week on a good note by minting approximately ₹35 crore. "GAV" surpassed the opening week collections of "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" ("SVSC") and "Race Gurram." The film has also taken the third spot in the list of Telugu films with top worldwide week one share.

"GAV" had a solo big release in more than 1,000 screens. The film did not face any threat from other biggies like "Aagadu" and "Loukyam", which were still running in theatres.

The Krishna Vamsi directorial took good openings on the first day and minted ₹8.55 crore share. It surpassed the opening day collections of Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine."

However, it failed to beat the first day collections of Charan's "Yevadu", which had earned ₹8.65 crore. The family entertainer continued its good run for the next few days due to Dussehra and Bakrid holidays. It maintained a steady business and managed to earn more than ₹30 crore in its opening week.

However, the film's performance has slowed down since its eighth day as a result of the week day. The Charan starrer is estimated to have earned ₹95 lakh AP/Nizam share on the eighth day, according to ABO. The film is likely to have slow business in the weekdays and pick up during the second weekend.

The Charan starrer is expected to have a good run in its second week as no biggies are hitting the screens until 17 October when Naga Chaitanya's "Oka Laila Kosam" and Manchu Manoj's "Current Theega" will be released.

If "GAV" maintains its business and performs well, it is likely to be Charan's another hit in his career.
