Kannada heroine Nayana Krishna was taken into custody for allegedly trapping a 68 year old doctor from Bangalore and blackmailing him with a video. After she gave several skips to investigation, Karnataka police finally arrested her.
Nayana Krishna hit the news in last June when her name popped up for blackmailing a doctor by luring him with a local actress, filming the whole video and later trying for money extortion. Nayana Krishna reportedly demaded a huge amount of one crore rupees from the old doctor and the issue settled for 25 lakhs. Police revealed that Nayana Krishna along with two media personnel, a video editor Hemanth, transport coordinator Sunil, two police constables Mallesh and Raghu, TV actresses Rihana and Sonu lured the old man and recorded it on hidden camera.
The doctor approached police after paying one lakh and police laid a trap to arrest her. Nayana krishna is claiming innocence, her suspicious movements led to arrest.
