Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh who is making his debut in Tamil film started dubbing for his role. He flew down to Chennai to also complete shooting some of his scenes in Katti . Neil speaking about it said “Yes, I have been dubbing in Tamil for Kaththi for the past three days and I have completed dubbing for the first half of the film. Actually , dubbing in a known language is itself very difficult as it needs a lot of technique.
The task becomes even more difficult when it comes to an unknown language. When Murugadoss sir asked me to dub, I was like, `dub in Tamil? No chance'. Then I took it as a challenge and managed to finish the first half in a couple of days.“.
He added “No, they are damn lengthy (laughs). Murugadoss sir has been checking my accent and helping me a lot. I need to talk in my natural style as the character is a north Indian who speaks Tamil.I don't want to sound artificial and the director feels that my voice is apt.“.
On the most difficult word he said “Irukka koodathu. This word has been troubling me for the past two days.“. Katti stars Vijay and Kajal under Murugadoss' direction.
