While big heroes, big budgets and big directors are always risk prone, budding directors and producers are relying on safe budgets to make their place in film trade. One such film which created tremors at BO in last year is ‘Swamy Rara’ giving a new lease of life both to hero Nikhil, heroine Colors Swathi and director Sudheer Varma.
Into the same line with same combination is ‘karthikeya’ directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film being a bi-lingual is waiting for an apt release time. Though the rumor mills have spread the news on financial problems are surrounding the film, now we heard that the makers have bailed it off. Well, it is too late by now. There are a row of big films like ‘Power, Aagadu, Govindudu Andari Vadele’ are standing in the queue to hit the marquee. Among these big films, where is the space for ‘karthikeya?
