Almost all Bollywood films consider marketing their films in top TV shows, especially in Salman Khan's much watched controversial TV show "Bigg Boss", but the team of Hrithik Roshan's "Bang Bang" has surprisingly turned down the invitation from "Bigg Boss 8" to promote their film in Salman's show.
"'Bigg Boss' team had approached the 'Bang Bang' team to promote their film during the launch of 'Bigg Boss' show, but 'Bang Bang' team politely refused it," a source close to the industry told Mid-Day.
"The 'Bang Bang' team has decided not to promote their film on any TV shows as they feel they can't recreate the scale of 'Bang Bang' on any reality show," the source added.
It appears like Roshan is following Aamir Khan's promotional strategies. Even though Aamir understands TV as a great platform to promote films, he believes that big banners need not require to promote in small screens.
Meanwhile, Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer has already created a tremendous buzz among the audience. Be it the teaser trailer or the songs "Tu Meri", "Meherbaan" or the latest title track, all have received stupendous responses from the viewers.
The makers are confident that Roshan's power-packed action stunts combined with Kaif's stunning looks will definitely pull the crowd to the movie halls.
"The highlight of 'Bang Bang' is its action sequences and Hrithik's chemistry with Katrina. He is confident that it will draw the audience to the theatres," added the source.
"Bang Bang" is directed by Siddarth Anand and is slated to release worldwide on 2 October.
Meanwhile, Salman's "Bigg Boss 8" is geared up to air from 21 September on Colors TV channel. Latest reports also suggest that the reality show that revolves around controversies, will be bigger and better than the previous seasons.
