India's number one director Shankar is upbeat about his new film 'Ai', which is claimed to be India's costliest movies with a budget of Rs.180 crores. It is heard that the makers are quoting around Rs.30 crores for the Telugu version, 'manoharudu's rights of the movie. If deal is made possible, it's going to be an all time high price for any dubbing movie in tollywood. Earlier, Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth's 'Robo's rights were sold out to Rs.27 crores and has stood as a record till date.
'manoharudu' is starred by Vikram and Amy Jackson. Music of the movie is scored by AR Rehaman. The movie is being planned to release in 20,000 screens across the world and in China itself the movie is expected to in more than 10,000 screens. South Indian Number one Director Shankar has directed this movie.
