Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor starrer "Finding Fanny" has won the hearts of critics and Bollywood celebrities with its impressive storyline.
The film is directed by Homi Adajania of "Cocktail" and "Being Cyrus" fame and features Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur in pivotal roles. Ranveer Singh has done a cameo in the film.
"Finding Fanny" is not the usual Bollywood masala entertainer, but an offbeat film and director Adajania has used homour to show the harsh reality of its protagonists.

Bollywood Hungama in its review said: "It is commendable on the part of Fox and Dinesh Vijan to have diligently backed this project. With a big name like Deepika Padukone getting associated with this film and then Arjun Kapoor (scoring well at the Box Office) bringing in eye balls too, FINDING FANNY has enough curiosity around it. If you're tired of the nonsensical fare doled out by Bollywood week after week and have a palate for Unusual-Entertainment, then FINDING FANNY will fill your heart with joy."
Raja Sen of Rediff.com said: "It is this equilibrium Adajania must be applauded for loudest: when things get all shouty near the film's climax, one character balances it all out with a big, big grin even as he is surrounded by outrage.
"Admittedly, the climax is a muddied one, with Adajania straining to tie up loose ends when his very storytelling style -- in both this film and his promising debut, Being Cyrus -- seems best suited to leaving knots ambiguously open."
Sweta Kaushal of Hindustan Times said: "An interesting thing about Finding Fanny is that contrary to what you think it is, the film is not a comedy: it has its light moments, with enough scenes where you cannot stop but laugh with the characters. More than anything else, this film has managed to package human emotions and philosophies in way seldom seen happening in Bollywood.
"If Bollywood entertainment masala or love story is what you seek, Finding Fanny is certainly not your pick. If you are up for a slow, light-hearted take on life, love and their philosophies, book your tickets NOW."
