The advance booking of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer "Bang Bang" opened on Sunday at the domestic box office and within 24 hours, it received massive response.
The action thriller created enough buzz online through its promotional strategies and hence the advance booking started with a bang in India.
Siddharth Anand's directorial film will release on 2 October worldwide, but the advance booking counter opened on Sunday itself. And within hours, the tickets of the film were sold out at several theatres across the country.

The circuits were the film has created storm at the advance booking ticket counter include National Capital Region (NCR), Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and others.
At several theatres in NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, the morning shows ticket for opening day sold out rampantly.
Even the evening shows are showing almost full and fast filling status at online ticket booking portals. The pre-booking counter opened on Sunday and thus the exact opening day occupancy of the film will be revealed only on Wednesday.
The ticket rates of the film are also high like any other big films. With the ticket rates putting up in the range of ₹650 to ₹750, the opening day business of the film is expected to be better than other releases.
The opening day collection of the film will be high, but it remains to be seen whether it will break "Kick" and "Singham Returns" record at the box office. "Bang Bang" will face tough competition from Shahid Kapoor's "Haider", which is also making right noises in the trade circle.
Meanwhile, Roshan is busy promoting his film in a unique way. Instead of going to television and reality shows, the actor has given "Bang Bang" dare to co-stars and celebrity friends.
The film, which will release on a long holiday weekend, is a remake of Hollywood film "Knight and Day". It also features Danny Denzongpa, Jaaved Jaffrey and Pavan Malhotra in pivotal roles.
