Hrithik Roshan, who is known for getting into the skin of his on-screen characters, is now busy researching on his new project "Mohenjo Daro".
Roshan who will start shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama "Mohenjo Daro" after the release of his action thriller "Bang Bang", reportedly wants to learn more about the subject.
Although, it is said that the actor has been briefed about his character and the story that dates back to 26th century BC, he has decided to interact with archaeologists to enhance his knowledge.
"Hrithik has decided to meet archaeologists to learn about the civilisation in more detail. He wants to know more about the people, their behaviour and some striking features about them that would help him portray his character authentically," a source close to the actor told Hindustan Times.
"He is planning to do proper research of his own for a month once his next film releases," the source added.
The period drama is a love story set during the ancient Indus Valley Civilization and the first schedule will apparently take place in South Africa. Newcomer Pooja Hegde will be seen opposite the Bollywood hunk. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on 22 January 2016.
Gowariker, who is known for his super hit movies, "Lagaan", "Swades", has earlier worked with Roshan in the blockbuster period drama "Jodhaa Akbar".
"Mohenjo Daro" is said to be a mega project with a massive budget. There were also reports that Roshan has charged for a whopping ₹50 crore for the movie. If reports are to be believed, then Roshan could be one of the highest earning Bollywood stars and "Mohenjo Daro" will become the most expensive film.
Meanwhile, the actor will soon start with the promotions of his much awaited film "Bang Bang" opposite stunning actress Katrina Kaif. The flick has some death-defying stunts performed by Roshan himself.
The trailer and the songs have received tremendous responses and has been viewed over a million times. The flick will also bring back the sizzling "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" pair back on screen.
"Bang Bang", the official remake of "Knight and Day", is set to release worldwide on 2 October.
