Prince Mahesh's character sketch in 'Pokiri' was beautifully carved by the director Puri Jagannadh. The revelation of Mahesh as a cop during the pre climax scene was the highlight of the movie. Until this revelation, Mahesh appears like a street smart guy having no job. 

Seems like Mahesh's 'Aagadu' is going against 'Pokiri' as per the story. According to the aired reports, Mahesh gets introduced as an encounter specialist in the movie. Later, it is revealed that Mahesh steps into he shoes of his cop friend who is died. And this secret is revealed during the interval lead scene of the movie. Obviously, this scene appears to be reversal of 'Pokiri'. Some people say the movie's story is inspired by bollywood movie 'Special Chubbis'. Since this is one of the crazy projects of tollywood, it is obvious, we may hear such gossips on 'Aagadu'.
