Farsighted businessman, ace Telugu producer Allu Arvind is always hailed for his take on investing money on films at right times. But he is also criticized for not spending bucks at the places it is needed badly. However, his 'Paisa' saving stunts is something every producer should learn in order to stay in the skirmish for a long time.
For the first time ever, a song of a Telugu movie was filmed in Switzerland and that happened for Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Rowdy Alludu'. The song 'Chiluka Kshemama' was filmed in Switzerland, bringing that foreign-look to a Telugu song paving way for others to follow till date. But guess how many crew members would have went there to film this song? Shockingly, producer Allu Arvind has included himself for a cast and crew of miniscule '8' that boarded Switzerland flight. And when the actors Chiru and Shobana required their clothes to be ironed for second day shoot with same dress, Arvind himself took to iron-box and did the job.
'If Arvind has taken a costume assistant with him, that would cost him around 3 lakhs, and to save that unwanted spending he took the work himself without any shy', Chiru said, recollecting those days. This is what our 'lavish' and 'blockbuster' producers should learn as most big-budgeted flicks are not minting profits these days due to overshot budgets.
