YSR Congress Party chief and Pulivendula MLA YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today celebrated 'Raksha Bandhan' with school girls, members of party women wing and also actress Roja, the MLA from Nagari.
Party men led by girls and teens in colorful dresses tied colorful rakhis on his hand, at his Lotus Pond residence on Sunday as a symbol of women empowerment and protection of the women. Jagan responded in an affectionate manner and freely mingled with the school children. In a special Rakshabandhan message the YSRCP chief providing protection and safety of women and college girls was on top priority of his political campaign in the stae.
Earlier in the day, Nagari MLA and ex Telugu actress Roja and members of the YSRCP women’s wing tied traditional 'Rakhis' on the wrist of YS Jagan as a symbol of affection and admiration towards him. Jagan said women should become pillars of development and economic activity and enter politics and social service in a big way.
