Jr NTR's "Rabhasa" is all set for big openings on 29 August.
The film will have the biggest release ever for Jr NTR starrer with its total screen count amounting to over 1,200.
"Rabhasa" will be releasing in more than 1,050 screens in India including 800 plus in AP/Telangana areas, 90 plus in Karnataka, 60 plus in Tamil Nadu and100 plus screens in Mumbai and North India, according to Andhraboxoffice.
The film is also looking at a big release in key foreign markets where Telugu films have a huge market. Its screen count in the United States will be over 95, while the film will be shown in more than 40 screens in other overseas markets. Overall, "Rabhasa" is expected to release in more than 1,200 screens worldwide.
As far as the screen count is concerned, Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine" is holding the record for releasing in highest number of screens. The film was released in up to 1,400 screens worldwide.
It is said that "Rabhasa" screen count might be increased in two days. It is speculated that the Jr NTR starrer might beat the record currently held by "1 Nenokkadine," reported Gulte.
NTR has a huge fan following worldwide and the actor's films take good openings upon their release.
With no big competition around, "Rabhasa" is expected to open on a grand note at the worldwide box office.
NTR's "Baadshah", which hit the screens last year, entered the $1 million club at the US box office. It needs to be seen whether "Rabhasa" will follow suit and join the elite club. The film is also expected to fare well and break some records in the AP/Telangana box office.
With just a couple of days left for the release, trade analysts, "Rabhasa" team and fans of NTR will be eagerly waiting to see the film's performance at the box office.
"Rabhasa", deemed as a family drama, is directed Santhosh Srinivas of "Kandireega" fame. The film has Samantha and Pranitha sharing screen space for the second time after their 2013-blockbuster release "Attarintiki Daaredi".
The NTR starrer is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and its music is composed by Thaman.
