Natural beauty Nayanatara who mesmerised south movie lovers with her glamour revealed her name secret. It is known that Nayanatara's real name is Diana Mariyam Kurian.

She made her debut in a Malayalam film Manasinakkare under the direction of Satyan Antikkade. She said the director advised her to change her name and on her asking what name she should select, he gave her a list of 30 names.

She said she jotted down each on pieces of paper and selected one of them. She said the piece consisted Nayanatara's name. She said director later revealed that he planned to suggest the same name to her earlier.
