Some time ago, director Puri reportedly informed new directors, who came to narrate stories, to his brother and actor sairam shankar, that he would like to listen and approve it and also offer support. But now he has lost interest and left to sai to decide for himself.
Once-in-while, Puri gets interested with Sai's career and doesn't bother most of the time. His guidance would have helped Sai in a long way, but he kept away for reasons best to known to him. Recently, Puri changed tracks and checked out stories that Sai doing, but now he is off.
Whereas, Sai trusted director Teja and even postponed four films to accommodate "1000 Abbadalu" but it turned a damp squib, his career back to square one. Its better for sai to take his own call, then depending on his famed bro's moods and pick right script with new director and return to limelight.
