Oscar Winning actor and noted comedian Robin Williams was found dead on Monday at his home in California. According to police, it was a suspected suicide and Mr Williams was found "unconscious and not breathing inside his residence". The veteran actor's publicist said the "Good Will Hunting" star he had been battling depression prior to his death. The 63-year-old actor had won Oscar in "Best Supporting Actor" category for his over-the-top performance in "Good Will Hunting".
Susan Schneider, who became the actor's third wife when the couple married in 2011, said, "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief."
Williams is one of the most beloved American entertainers of his generation, He rose to fame with US television sitcom "Mork & Mindy". His popular films include 1987's "Good Morning Vietnam", 1989's "Dead Poets Society" besides several others.
